Radhika is a Senior Associate with the Buildings Practice with extensive experience in consulting, research, international development, and policy analysis. After starting her career in electronics engineering, Radhika continued on to earn her master’s degree in business administration from TERI University as well as a master’s in International Policy Studies from Stanford University. Her unique academic background has equipped Radhika with well-rounded knowledge of strategy, finance, energy and environmental law policy, statistics, economics, computer programming, and international trade. In her recent work, she helped Blue Shield of California identify a $6.4 million savings opportunity to reduce its emissions footprint by over 43% from 2012 levels, which was subsequently implemented by the organization. This involved an analysis of strategic renewable energy investment and energy efficiency projects as well as detailed baselining of current energy use. In the past, Radhika worked as a sustainability strategy consultant to over thirty Fortune 500 corporations in India and has been able to successfully engage businesses to catapult solutions for sustainable development.
